Space is collapsing. Time is shortening, distances diminishing.
Places that used to be far, far away are suddenly close at hand.
The world itself is getting small enough to show its glorious and chaotic diversity. If a journey means a direct life experience and broadening one’s horizons, we should be able to achieve a standard of awareness with regards to the environment in which we live. Nevertheless, in this body of work, an economically perilous and morally troubled world, our universe seems to be slipping away from under our feet, suddenly growing old and distant.
